THE CAMERAS USED FOR THIS PROJECT

On the left is a converted Polaroid™ Super Shooter, it has a focal length of 2 1/2 inches and is f/208. Using the 3 1/4 x 4 1/4, 665pn film packs with film speed ISO 50, in bright daylight exposures are approximately 12-16 seconds. I used this one for most of the portrait shots. In the middle is a Graphic View 4 x 5 with a three pinhole turret (.012, .024 and .062 inches). I could vary the focal length from 4 1/2 - 12 inches. The f-stops varied from f/176 to f/512. I usually used a pin-hole/focal length combination of f/352. The exposures were usually from 30 seconds to several minutes using Polaroid™ 55pn , 4 x 5 film (ISO 50). The camera on the right is a curved film plane, 6 1/2 inch x 24 inch panoramic. It has a radius and focal length of 10 inches and an f-stop of f/380. I use a medium weight Ilford™ B&W print paper for the negative, approximate ISO 4. Exposures in bright daylight are 4-6 minutes, heavy overcast or early and late in the day takes 20-30 minutes.
